Title
RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Med-Surg Telemetry / Neuro Stepdown

Schedule
- Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (combination of Fri/Sat/Sun)
- Holidays & charge assignments may be required

Assignment Details
- Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Requirements
- Required: 1-2 years RN experience
- Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred: ACLS
- Licensure: Must hold an active license at the time of submission
- Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and respiratory support

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit with various medical diagnoses.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, respond to emergencies, and participate in rapid response situations.
- Administer medications and therapies, including IV medications, blood products, and respiratory support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health management and post-procedural care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies and procedures.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Vaccination requirements: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Maximum 7 days for return time-off requests during assignment
