Job Title: Heat Trace Technician

Company Overview

IDE Electric is an electrical contractor based in northeastern Pennsylvania. Our primary focus is currently on the oil and gas division.

Role Summary

We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team as a Heat Trace Technician. This role involves wrapping heat trace and insulation on well pads in preparation for the winter season. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for motivated candidates, as there is potential for career growth into electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Instrument tubing and insulate heat trace piping.
• Troubleshoot glycol system installations.
• Install 3/8 to 1/2-inch stainless steel tubing.
• Wrap heat trace and insulation on well pads.

Requirements & Physical Demands

• Experience: No prior experience is required; a willingness to work hard is the top priority.
• Transportation: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required for a daily commute.
• Tools: Candidates must provide their own basic set of hand tools.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and be willing to perform all work outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.

Contract & Compensation

• Pay: Starting at $20- 25/hour depending on experience
• Structure: This is a 6-month Turner Staffing placement with the potential to move to a direct hire position with IDE Electric.
• Benefits: Benefits are available through Turner Staffing during the initial contract period.
