Position: Detail Specialist

Location: Knoxville, TN 37914

Role Overview:

The Detail Specialist plays an important role in producing high-quality fiberglass pools and spas by trimming, grinding, repairing, and cleaning molded fiberglass products. Using hand and portable power tools, this hands-on position focuses on inspecting finishes, correcting imperfections, and smoothing surfaces to ensure each product meets quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, safe handling of chemicals and equipment, maintaining a clean work environment, and working effectively with the team to meet production goals.

What You'll Do:

• Trim, grind, sand, repair, and clean fiberglass pools and spas using hand and portable power tools.
• Inspect products for imperfections, defects, and finish quality.
• Perform repairs and surface preparation to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Smooth and finish surfaces to achieve a clean, consistent appearance.
• Safely handle chemicals, tools, equipment, and fiberglass materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and production standards.
• Work efficiently with the production team to meet daily production goals and schedules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in fiberglass, manufacturing, construction, bodywork, or a similar hands-on environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and portable power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions, measurements, and established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
