CCTV Project Technician

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Commercial Security & Low Voltage Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced CCTV and networking systems. Key Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various commercial CCTV systems Run low‑voltage Cat 6 cabling through commercial buildings Install conduit and drill concrete walls as required for cable pathways Complete all wiring, set up Main Distribution Frames (MDFs), and troubleshoot network switches Conduct operational tests and troubleshoot new installations to guarantee functionality Ensure all systems satisfy customer contracts and meet local, state, and federal codes Assist Installation Team Leads and Project Managers with schedules and equipment delivery Required Qualifications & Licenses Current, valid state Physical Security license and/or Life Safety license (if applicable) would be a plus Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years) Deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure, blueprints, site maps, and closeout documentation Certified or willing to get certified in the orientation class to operate a boom or scissor lift and comfortable working at heights Own basic telecommunications tools, PPE, and reliable transit for the initial training period Flexible and fully available for project‑related travel Why Choose Wachter Full‑time work Competitive compensation based on experience Paid weekly Per‑Diem paid when overnight travel is required Company‑provided cell phone Company vehicle provided, in some cases, after initial 2‑4 weeks of employment Drive time and mileage paid for use of personal vehicle when travel is required Paid vacation and holidays Opportunities for certification and career advancement Supportive team environment Benefits Package – Company Paid Medical, dental, prescription & vision benefits – no premium cost Life, AD&D, and LTD insurance Paid vacation and holidays Company‑matched 401(k) and IRA retirement savings #J-18808-Ljbffr Wachter, Inc.
