What You'll Do

• Manage your own dedicated book of business, pulling and working your own reports daily
• Contact customers by phone, email, text, and mail to collect payments and negotiate settlements or payment plans
• Document every customer interaction accurately and keep account records up to date
• Investigate and resolve billing questions, errors, and disputes
• Route paperwork to legal, third-party vendors, or credit bureaus as needed, and hit individual/team metrics consistently

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college in a related field a plus
• 1+ year in loan processing, loan servicing, collections, or auditing (or a comparable customer service/billing role)
• Comfortable typing 65–70 WPM and navigating multiple computer systems at once

Physical & Work Setting:

• Primarily seated desk work in an individual cubicle; occasional light lifting
• Able to work in a manufacturing-facility office environment (climate-controlled, some ambient dust)

Attributes:

• Self-starter who stays organized and detail-oriented under deadline pressure
• Comfortable working toward quotas/metrics, including extended hours on weekdays — and occasionally weekends — if targets aren't met
• Professional phone presence, empathy, and strong written/verbal communication

Work Environment & Employment Note

This position is based in an individual cubicle inside a manufacturing facility's office area. It begins as a temp-to-hire engagement: the first 90 days are the critical evaluation period, after which strong performers are considered for conversion to a permanent role with the client. During the initial contract period, standard corporate health benefits and paid time off are not provided; conversion to permanent status brings the client's full benefits package.
