This is a primarily office-based role during the week, where you’ll coordinate catering orders, communicate with clients, manage event details, and support the day-to-day operations of our catering team. On weekends, you’ll step into a hands-on role supporting and supervising offsite events throughout Central Florida.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a point of contact for catering clients by phone, email, and online inquiries
• Enter and manage catering orders accurately
• Coordinate event details, schedules, staffing, rentals, equipment, and supplies
• Support Catering Sales Managers with client communication and follow-up
• Process payments, deposits, and event documentation
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to ensure events are prepared for success
• Attend and help supervise offsite catering events
• Lead and support event staff during setup, service, and breakdown
• Ensure food quality, presentation, service, and guest satisfaction meet 4 Rivers standards
• Troubleshoot issues and jump in wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, team-first attitude
• Comfortable working independently in an office and hands-on at events
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Clean driving record and ability to meet 4 Rivers Driver Policy standards
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience in catering, restaurants, hospitality, events, sales support, or administration is a plus!

Schedule Requirements

This is primarily a  weekday office position , with flexibility required for catering events.

• Weekday availability required
• Some Sundays required based on event schedules
• Evening availability required for certain events
• Must be willing to travel to offsite events throughout Central Florida

4 Rivers Smokehouse began with the launch of the “Barbecue Ministry” in 2004, when John hosted a cookout fundraiser to support a local family whose young daughter was battling cancer. This one event resulted in a passion for supporting local schools, churches, and charitable organizations. After trials, tribulations, and a whole lot of burnt ends, we finally flipped that “Hot Brisket Now” sign on in October of 2009.
