Tax Supervisor

Job Title: Tax Supervisor
Location: Stockton, CA (Hybrid - 2 days a week in office)
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 base + annual bonuses

We're working with a well-established public accounting firm that's been in business for over 60 years and is ranked among the Top 200 CPA Firms in the U.S. . The firm has 100+ employees nationwide and serves clients in industries such as real estate, construction, non-profit, and professional services.

Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team. This opportunity offers full remote flexibility (with a preference for those located in California), a collaborative culture, and a benefits package that goes far beyond industry norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare a wide range of returns including corporate, partnership, fiduciary, individual, and multi-state

• Support client engagements from planning to completion

• Supervise and mentor staff and senior accountants

• Maintain strong client communication and relationship management

• Assist with tax research and planning as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Minimum of 4-5 years of public accounting and tax experience

• Experience with multiple types of returns (corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, multi-state)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Credentials:

• CPA license (or actively pursuing, with at least one section passed)

• Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting
