Position Title Health Peer Navigator Coordinator Working Title Coordinator of Facilities Operation Employment Details Part Time – Multiple Vacancies Role Overview The Coordinator for Peer Navigators will serve as the Coordinator of Operations within the Health and Wellness Center, supporting program operations, data collection, and peer engagement efforts. The Health and Wellness Center is a vital component of the university community, offering a wide range of facilities, programs, and services designed to promote holistic well‑being and student engagement. By fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment, the Center encourages students, faculty, and staff to lead active, balanced lifestyles and provides meaningful opportunities for connection, teamwork, and personal growth. Primary Responsibilities Assist with the collection, organization, and documentation of program and participation data. Greet students and visitors; check individuals in at the front desk or entry point. Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Health and Wellness Center, including shared spaces and resource areas. Assist professional staff with day‑to‑day operational tasks and special projects as needed. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with students and handling sensitive information. Be on‑call to provide leadership during times facilities and programs are operating. Work evenings and weekends and maintain a flexible schedule. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements 2+ years of professional experience in developing and supervising student or part‑time employees. Graduate assistantship experience acceptable. 2+ years of professional experience working with facility operations, supervising and/or coordinating weight and fitness areas. American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, or AED certification, or ability to obtain certification. Experience in assessing participant participation and satisfaction. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, organized, and detail oriented. Demonstrated diversity advocate. Ability to plan and make decisions independently. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in the use of computers and relevant software applications. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience working in a collegiate setting. General knowledge of operations tied into the management of a multipurpose facility.
