MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local clients are NOW HIRING for 3rd S hift Order Picker Forklift Operator in the Northwest Indianapolis , IN , area!

• Position: Forklift Operator
• Shift: Sunday to Thursday 10:00PM – 6:00AM
• Pay: $17.50/hourly plus $1hr attendance bonus
• Location: Northwest Indianapolis (Park 100)

Job Summary:

• The warehouse Forklift Operator associate is responsible for the receipt, shipment, recording and disbursement of goods to or from various locations using stand up Order Picker Forklift. Reports to warehouse supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly of product, order picking, packing, RF scanning of product.
• Applicants must be able to work safely and productively within the warehouse environment and provide high-quality service to our customers through safe, efficient, damage-free, cost-effective and accurate storage and handling.
• Performs warehouse functions including order picking, packing, and assembly of product
• Use of handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance
• Assists in cycle counts, auditing and physical inventories.
• Follows company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Works cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Participate in keeping the facility maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
• Work on heights 40-60 feet up and not afraid heights
• Additional duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience with stand up Order Picker forklift Required
• Basic mathematical skills
• Must be able to understand and take direction in English or Spanish for training.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents
• Warehouse experience required

Physical Requirements:

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping duration of shift.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight up to 50lb.
• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
