Work Environment This role is fully remote, enabling you to provide care to clients through telehealth services, which is particularly beneficial in the context of today’s health landscape. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of your patients. Our telehealth setting ensures you can connect with individuals, couples, and families in an accessible manner, while maintaining all necessary privacy and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools to evaluate patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, during virtual sessions. Facilitate and lead psychoeducational and support groups to foster community and address common mental health issues among participants. Work collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support in mental health emergencies. Educate patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and local resources available to assist them on their mental health journey. Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to both legal and ethical guidelines. Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities. Continuously update knowledge of the latest research and advancements in mental health therapies to enhance your practice. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidates will engage with a diverse population that includes individuals dealing with various mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety disorders, and substance abuse challenges. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required. Valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland. Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities is essential. The capacity to perform comprehensive mental health evaluations and create individualized treatment plans. Experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions with diverse client populations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and team members. Strong ethical standards and sound judgment in maintaining professional boundaries. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation efficiently. A collaborative mindset, ready to contribute as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience Master's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred for this role, enhancing treatment methodologies and supervision capabilities. Proficiency in telehealth platforms and technology to engage with patients effectively in a virtual environment. Prior experience in an outpatient setting or community-based mental health services is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
