Job Title: Material Handler III – 3rd Shift
Pay Rate: $27.40/hour
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:15 PM – 6:00 AM (Flexibility Required for Training on Other Shifts)

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Material Handler III to join our team on 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be flexible to train on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as needed. This role is critical to our supply chain and production operations, supporting shipping, receiving, storage, and the accurate distribution of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced-level material handling and coordination activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution of parts and equipment.
• Unpack, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining accurate records and rejecting unsatisfactory items as necessary.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; safely lift and move heavy items as required.
• Prepare records, documentation, and shipments, including posting weights, calculating shipping charges, and ensuring goods are ready for final dispatch.
• Stock, organize, and distribute materials to inventory or manufacturing lines; prepare kitting packages for production as needed.
• Adapt standard procedures and equipment to meet more complex or dynamic operational requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to resolve inventory or order issues and ensure process flow continuity.
• May manage order releases and corrections within Exacta or similar inventory allocation platforms; perform audits to monitor inventory levels and forecast needs.
• Support the continuous improvement of processes and quality systems; participate in achieving departmental quality objectives.
• Act as a backup for the Process Specialist as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant material handling or logistics experience.
• Thorough understanding and practical application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with SAP or comparable inventory management systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and proficient interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be flexible to work multiple shifts as necessary for training.
