Operations Associate

Operations Associate Location: [Lynchburg, VA] Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: [Monday-Friday] Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Operations Associate to support daily business operations through a combination of administrative responsibilities, warehouse activities, and inventory management. This role requires a hands-on individual who is comfortable working both in an office environment and within a warehouse setting. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to assist wherever needed to ensure smooth operational workflows. Forklift certification is preferred; however, candidates who are willing to obtain certification will be considered. Key Responsibilities Administrative Duties Answer phones, emails, and general company correspondence. Maintain accurate records, reports, and filing systems. Process purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and other operational paperwork. Assist with data entry and inventory tracking. Support scheduling and coordination of deliveries, shipments, and internal operations. Perform general office and administrative tasks as assigned. Warehouse Duties Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Perform inventory counts and maintain stock accuracy. Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Assist with material handling and product movement within the facility. Equipment Operation Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Complete forklift certification training if not currently certified. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Previous administrative, operations, warehouse, or logistics experience. Forklift certification. Experience with inventory management systems and shipping software.
