This role is based in Lafayette, Louisiana and serves construction clients across Acadiana.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will own the full sales cycle for new managed services and cybersecurity contracts in the construction verticals of architecture, engineering, and construciton. You will build, qualify, and close net-new opportunities and position RIT as the trusted IT partner for construction-industry leaders.

• Prospect and qualify new business across architecture, engineering, and construction firms
• Own the sales cycle end to end, from first touch to signed contract, backed by marketing campaigns, partnerships, and referrals
• Build tailored proposals and statements of work using RIT templates, with Sales Engineer support as needed
• Lead discovery and needs-analysis conversations with owners and executives, covering budgets, project constraints, and compliance
• Manage pipeline and activity in Autotask PSA, GlassHive CRM, and Apollo, and keep the data accurate
• Partner with engineering, onboarding, and service delivery for clean handoffs and satisfied clients
• Represent RIT at industry events and partner functions to build awareness and referral relationships
• Forecast and report with discipline. No fluff, no ghost opportunities, only qualified, actionable data

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• First 30 days: learn our offerings, pricing, and construction buyer pain points
• Days 31-60: 10-12 first time appointments, 2+ proposals sent, $30K+ qualified MRR pipeline
• Days 61-90: run full-cycle deals assisted, $60K qualified pipeline, first client closed at $3.5K+ MRR
• Days 91-120: predictable production, $60K+ pipeline, 1+ deal closed per month, 15-20% close rate on qualified opportunities

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (exempt), plus uncapped commission on new monthly recurring revenue
• 12 paid holidays per year plus 80 hours of PTO

• 401(k) with safe harbor match: 100% of the first 3% you defer, plus 50% of the next 2%, fully vested from day one and eligible the first of the quarter after 90 days
• $75 monthly cell phone allowance
• Certification reimbursement: up to $300 per passed exam and $100 in study materials
