Salary: $19.00 28.00/ hour

Superior Communications has one open position for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Irwindale, CA. This position will be level I, II or III depending on prior experience.

With 30 years of experience in the wireless industry, Superior Communications has become the nation's largest manufacturer and distributor of wireless accessories with the broadest product offerings and services for all channels of distribution.

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

You will be responsible for:

• Performing clerical accounts payable functions
• Vouching, sorting, and entering all invoices and credits for payment
• Providing timely payment of invoices
• Preparation and cutting of checks
• Applying payment to outstanding invoices
• Matching invoices to printed checks
• Maintaining and filing accounts payable documentation
• Maintaining an audit trail of accounts payable checks
• Assisting in year-end process
• Researching and adjusting incorrect and out-of-balance data
• Reporting preparation
• Following ISO/TL9000 requirements as it pertains to position

Required Education/ Experience:

• An associate's degree in accounting is preferred
• 2+ years of data entry in an accounting environment with payables
• Applied knowledge of accounting functions and operations
• Intermediate computer skills
• Advanced experience using MS Excel
• Navision experience (preferred)

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some light lifting is required. This would require the ability to lift a 5 to 15-pound box, open box, and bend or stand as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Normal business days are Monday through Friday. Work hours will be assigned in advance.

Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.
