The Payroll Tax Analyst will support multi-state payroll tax compliance while partnering with HR, Finance, and external agencies across a large, complex organization. Key Responsibilities For The Payroll Tax Analyst Prepare, reconcile, and ensure timely filing of multi-state, federal, and local payroll tax filings while maintaining compliance with changing tax regulations. Research and resolve payroll tax notices, agency inquiries, and employee tax issues while working with internal teams and third-party payroll providers. Perform payroll tax reconciliations, account analysis, and support month-end and year-end reporting, including W-2 processing. Maintain payroll tax registrations, unemployment accounts, and jurisdictional setup for new locations and business changes. Participate in payroll system implementations, testing, process improvements, and special projects to enhance efficiency and compliance. Qualifications For The Payroll Tax Analyst Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of payroll tax, payroll accounting, or payroll compliance experience, including multi-state payroll tax knowledge. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel experience and familiarity with large payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/payroll platforms. #J-18808-Ljbffr
