Aspen Careers is partnering with a respected, mid-sized Ohio law firm to identify a Finance Manager who will oversee the firm's day-to-day financial operations and lead its accounting team. The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-7 years of accounting or finance experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• Prior experience within a law firm or professional services environment is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with law firm accounting software and trust accounting is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring or supervising accounting staff
• High level of professionalism, accuracy, and discretion when handling confidential financial information
