This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients primarily through telemedicine. However, you will also have the opportunity to engage with clients in-person at our outpatient office when needed. Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, your primary responsibility will be to provide therapeutic support to couples and families. This will involve:

• Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of families in crisis.

• Facilitating joint and individual therapy sessions to address issues such as alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief, and communication difficulties.

• Offering guidance and support during difficult transitions, such as separation and divorce, ensuring families are equipped to navigate these changes.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote healing and reconciliation.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of sessions and treatment outcomes within our digital systems.

• Collaborating with other mental health professionals within the practice to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance your skill set and stay current with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will predominantly benefit couples and families facing significant challenges, including but not limited to:

• Emotional and psychological trauma, including grief and loss.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts, particularly among family members and siblings.
\n
• Stress related to life changes such as job transitions or blended family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Possess an active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
