About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMCU Duration: Contract Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: 48 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of nursing experience - BLS certification - ACLS certification Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse for an intermediate care unit. The nurse will care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, and hypertensive emergencies. Additional patient conditions include respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy. The nurse will manage heparin drips as part of patient care. A nurse-patient ratio of 1 to 4 is maintained. Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families are essential. The role demands a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
