About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30303!
Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Step Down Unit Duration: Permanent Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 2 years of experience, ACLS, BLS Description: This position is for an RN in a medical step down unit. The unit typically has 6 to 20 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 to 4. Common patient conditions include sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Floating to all intermediate care unit areas may be required, with common rotations including specific units. Candidates must possess a valid RN license and current ACLS and BLS certifications.
