Senior Associate / VP - Infrastructure Debt

Location Brookfield Place, New York - 225 Liberty Street, 8th Floor, Business - Infrastructure Role Overview Senior Associate / Vice President – opportunity to originate, structure, and execute private infrastructure investments, primarily focused on flexible capital, unitranche, high-yield, preferred equity, and mezzanine capital. Key Responsibilities Source and screen new investment opportunities with senior management. Perform due diligence including operational, financial, valuation and industry analyses. Review and build detailed financial models, prepare underwriting cases and investment committee material. Structure and execute term sheets and financing documents. Monitor existing portfolio investments. Develop investment theses, value creation strategies, and lead transaction structuring. Spearhead due diligence and coordinate with operational, legal, tax, and internal teams to underwrite business cases. Prepare and present materials for investment committees. Prepare key documents such as bid letters and term sheets. Network and research industry trends to identify new investment opportunities and strategies. Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and analysis. Participate in special projects and contribute to a positive team culture. Qualifications 6-10+ years of investment banking or related experience, ideally in infrastructure, energy, direct investing or credit. Skilled in economic, financial, and data analysis, including discounted cash flows, financial statements, economics, equity valuation, and modeling. Quick learner with strong attention to detail; effective multitasker in fast‑paced settings. Strong communication, relationship management and presentation skills. Effective use of internal/external resources; hands‑on approach to managing tasks. Strong risk management, judgement, and fiduciary responsibility; self‑motivated with an owner‑operator mindset. Compensation Salary: $280k - $350k base plus short‑term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation varies by geography to remain market competitive.
