Registered Nurse (RN), Neuro/Ortho/Peds Unit Job Type: Full-Time | 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp Schedule: 6 x 12‑hour shifts, Nights (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends and Holidays Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 available to qualified applicants Responsibilities Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Qualifications Current Michigan RN license and associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred). Basic Life Support (BLS‑HCP).
