SkyBridge Luxury is conducting a confidential search for an exceptional Executive Chef to lead the culinary operation of a highly anticipated, upscale restaurant opening in New York City in early 2027.

The Executive Chef will work in close partnership with the restaurant’s Chef/Owner, a two-Michelin-starred chef, to bring an established culinary vision to life while taking full ownership of the day-to-day culinary operation, team, culture and financial performance.

This is a role for a chef who is as much an operator and leader as a culinary professional .

We are looking for an Executive Chef who takes true ownership of the business — someone who can build and inspire a team, establish a strong kitchen culture, drive consistency and execute an established culinary vision at an exceptional level.

This individual must understand that leading a successful kitchen goes well beyond the food. The right Executive Chef knows their numbers, understands the P&L, manages labor and food cost intelligently, develops leaders beneath them and creates the systems and accountability necessary to operate a sophisticated, high-volume restaurant successfully.

The Role

• Lead all aspects of the culinary operation with accountability for performance, quality, consistency and execution
• Recruit, build, train and retain a high-performing culinary team
• Establish a kitchen culture centered around excellence, accountability, professionalism and development
• Execute and protect an established culinary vision and exacting standards
• Maintain a highly visible, hands-on leadership presence throughout the operation
• Own culinary financial performance, including P&L, food cost, labor, purchasing, productivity and inventory
• Establish strong operational systems and ensure consistent execution
• Lead successfully within a demanding, high-volume restaurant environment
• Develop the Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chefs and emerging culinary leaders while building a strong bench
• Partner closely with restaurant operations and senior leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience
• Take ownership of challenges, identify solutions and continually look for opportunities to strengthen the business

Who We're Looking For

You are a proven Executive Chef with experience leading high-volume, sophisticated restaurant operations and sizable culinary teams .

You think like an owner . You understand both the culinary and commercial sides of the restaurant business and are comfortable being accountable for both.

You know how to build a team, not simply inherit one , and have a track record of developing talent, establishing expectations and creating a culture where people perform at their best.

You understand financials and can speak confidently about food cost, labor, purchasing, productivity and P&L performance.

Above all, you are a true operator — organized, decisive, accountable, collaborative and highly present. You know when to lead from the kitchen, when to coach, when to dig into the numbers and when to make the difficult call.
