Customer Service Representative - B2B Lead GenerationCustom Fabricating & Supplies (CFS) is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role combines customer service excellence with proactive lead generation in a B2B manufacturing environment.As a key point of contact for customers and prospective clients, you will support existing accounts, process quotes and orders, resolve customer inquiries, and actively identify new business opportunities. A portion of this role involves researching prospects, conducting outbound outreach, and qualifying opportunities for our Outside Sales team to develop and close.Why Join CFS?We are an industry leader in industrial masking, sealing, and protection solutions.Work with a knowledgeable team dedicated to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.Enjoy a dynamic role that blends customer support, relationship-building, and business development.Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Estimating, and Engineering to help customers find the right solutions.What You'll DoCustomer Service & Account SupportServe as a primary point of contact for customers and prospects.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.Prepare quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate customer information.Respond to customer inquiries and help resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.Coordinate with internal departments to ensure products and services are delivered on time.Gather customer requirements and assist in identifying the best solutions for their applications.Maintain detailed and accurate records within ERP and CRM systems.Lead Generation & Business DevelopmentResearch and identify prospective manufacturing and industrial customers.Conduct outbound cold calls and email outreach to introduce CFS products and services.Engage decision-makers to identify needs, gather information, and qualify opportunities.Schedule appointments, introductions, and follow-up conversations for the Outside Sales team.Follow up on marketing initiatives, prospect lists, and inbound inquiries.Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and business opportunities.Support company growth objectives through consistent prospecting, outreach, and customer engagement.What We're Looking For3+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, lead generation, or a related role.Comfortable conducting outbound prospecting and follow-up calls to identify new business opportunities.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to engage prospective customers, ask effective questions, and uncover business opportunities.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and willingness to learn.Experience using ERP and/or CRM systems preferred.High School diploma or equivalent.Success in This RoleThe ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, solving problems, building relationships, and proactively identifying new opportunities.
