Babel Audio Voice Actor Opportunity Babel Audio collaborates with leading technology companies to gather high-quality audio data used to train advanced artificial intelligence models. We work with thousands of participants worldwide to record authentic human conversations, enabling AI to better understand and communicate with humans. About the Role Babel Audio is seeking professional Arabic Egyptian (Egypt) voice actors to participate in a solo performance project. Your recordings will be used to train AI systems to better understand and express human emotions. This is an interpretative, character-building job that requires genuine craftsmanship, and we have designed this collaboration to reflect that. You will receive a script and scene description, study the emotional context, and deliver an honest performance of the character and moment. The scenes are specific and emotionally rich. You may perform roles such as: A bride bidding farewell to her family on her wedding night, immersed in her emotions A father holding his newborn child for the first time, overwhelmed with emotion A shepherd spotting a wolf in the distance, waking up to protect his flock A doctor delivering the news of a patient's death to the family, with a heavy heart A runner nearing the finish line after years of training, consumed by emotion The recordings are less than one minute long. You choose the texts you perform and work on your own schedule. Who You Are Fluent in Egyptian Arabic at a native language level Professional background in voice acting, dubbing, voice-over, audiobook narration, or similar Able to deliver expressive and engaging voice performances across a variety of styles and emotions Comfortable interpreting scene descriptions and working independently with minimal direction Compensation 90 USD per hour of recorded audio Additional incentives may be available based on performance Technical Requirements Sound Quality: Clear and consistent audio quality Microphone: USB preferred (XLR; no built-in, wireless, or Bluetooth microphones) Recording Device: A desktop computer or laptop is required (no mobile phones or tablets) Environment: A quiet, noise-free space, acoustically treated or soundproofed (no noticeable echo) Internet Connection: Stable connection to ensure high-quality recording Pop Filter: A pop filter or a sponge wind screen is highly recommended This rate applies specifically to the audio time recorded for this project.
