About the Role

As a Foreman / Field Supervisor, you will oversee daily field operations on a variety of heavy highway construction projects, including:

• Concrete work
• Asphalt paving
• Earthwork / site development
• Bridge rehabilitation and repair
• Miscellaneous civil construction projects

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications
• Schedule daily tasks and manage workflow to meet project deadlines
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a strong safety culture
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
• Monitor materials, equipment, and labor usage
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in heavy highway or civil construction
• Strong knowledge of concrete, asphalt, grading, and/or bridge work
• Ability to lead union crews and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Solid understanding of construction safety standards and regulations
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
