Base pay $60,000.00/yr Location La Grange, Illinois (Hybrid work) Job Summary As a Customer Success Manager you\'ll be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of domestic freight accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing client relationships in the transportation industry. Key Responsibilities Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and issues. Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company’s market share. Freight Coordination: Coordinate domestic freight shipments, including negotiating rates with carriers, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor account performance, prepare regular reports on key metrics, and provide insights to management on account health and growth opportunities. Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with industry regulations and company policies. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations affecting domestic freight. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in domestic freight management, logistics, or a related field. Strong understanding of domestic freight and transportation industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
