Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Ability to operate medical imaging equipment.
- Knowledge of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
- Competence in high level disinfection of endocavity probes.
- Understanding of EPIC.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and ensure quality imaging for diagnosis.
- Consult with radiologist for exam review prior to patient discharge.
- Provide ultrasound guidance for special procedures to attending physicians.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and notify Clinical Engineering as needed.
- Verify orders and patient identification with established identifiers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA standards.

Compliance / Notes:
- Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation.
- Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a lower local rate.
