Account Manager – State Farm Agent Team Member

William Ashworth State Farm is looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our established Lakeland team. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people but also has the confidence and drive to identify opportunities, make recommendations, and ask for the sale. Our team believes strong customer relationships begin with listening, understanding individual needs, and providing options that make sense. As an Account Manager, you'll play an important role in helping customers understand their insurance options while contributing to the continued growth and success of the agency. What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct insurance and account reviews to identify coverage needs and opportunities.
• Educate customers on available insurance products and explain coverage in an easy-to-understand way.
• Recommend and sell appropriate insurance products based on individual customer needs.
• Follow up consistently with warm leads, existing customers, and prospective customers.
• Participate in outbound sales activities and confidently initiate conversations with new prospects.
• Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships through additional insurance products and services.
• Assist customers with account questions, policy changes, and more complex service needs.
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activity.
• Work toward individual and agency production goals.
• Collaborate with the team to provide a consistent and positive customer experience.
• Develop long-term customer relationships based on trust, communication, and dependable service.

What We're Looking For

• Previous insurance sales, account management, financial services, or relationship-based sales experience preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales or performance goals.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable initiating sales conversations and asking for the business.
• Ability to work both warm and cold leads.
• Strong follow-up, organization, and time-management skills.
• Confidence explaining products and helping customers understand their options.
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
• Coachable, dependable, and willing to contribute to a team environment.
• Tennessee insurance licensing preferred or willingness to obtain required licenses.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
