William Ashworth State Farm is looking for a driven individual who is interested in developing their sales, leadership, business, and customer relationship skills while working directly alongside an experienced State Farm agent.

This is an in-person opportunity for someone who aspires to become a leader, trusted advisor, and potentially pursue an independent State Farm agency opportunity in the future.

As an Aspirant, you will gain firsthand exposure to what it takes to build and operate a successful insurance agency. You will work closely with the agent, develop your insurance knowledge, participate in sales and marketing activities, and learn how an agency operates from the inside out.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional sales position. It is for someone who wants to learn the business, develop professionally, and prepare themselves for greater responsibility.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

• How to develop and manage new business opportunities.
• How to build strong customer relationships and become a trusted advisor.
• How to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• How to establish and work toward sales and growth goals.
• How to market and grow an insurance agency.
• How to develop effective networking and community outreach strategies.
• How to manage customer relationships and agency operations.
• How to lead and motivate a team.
• How an experienced agent approaches business decisions and agency growth.
• The fundamentals of running a successful State Farm agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop leads and create opportunities for new business.
• Schedule and conduct customer appointments.
• Identify customer needs through a needs-based review process.
• Educate customers on insurance products and coverage options.
• Market appropriate Property & Casualty, Life, Health, and financial products.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Work with the agent to establish and achieve sales and marketing goals.
• Participate in networking, community outreach, and agency growth activities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity.
• Support day-to-day agency operations and learn office logistics.
• Take initiative to develop the skills necessary to grow into greater responsibility.
• Work closely with the agent to gain firsthand experience in sales, leadership, and agency management.
