About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to take on a pivotal role in the full-cycle accounting function for its family office management companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, leading the close process, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role also involves managing intercompany transactions, leading the budget process, and partnering with HR on compensation planning. The VP of Accounting will oversee cash management, develop cash flow forecasts, and manage banking relationships. Additionally, the role includes end-to-end payroll oversight and requires a hands-on approach to treasury and budgeting functions. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of experience in accounting and finance, including at least 3 years' in a senior leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family office accounting, experience in leading and developing accounting and payroll staff, and a proven track record in financial management. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and/or Allvue accounting software is a plus. The role demands a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
