Join Our Team as a Speech Therapist

We are excited to invite you to become a part of our dynamic team as a Speech Therapist in a PRN capacity! This role requires experience working with pediatric clients.

Hourly Rate: $45.90 - $51.20, depending on experience.

This position is PRN and involves travel to clients' residences.

• Deliver ongoing therapy to clients in accordance with physician directives.
• Communicate client progress within the organization.
• Assess and treat clients, while collaborating with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or equivalent experience of at least one year working with adults and children with neurological disorders.
• Must possess a valid Speech Pathology license in the applicable state or be actively pursuing the necessary supervisory experience for licensure.
• Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration is required.
• Membership in the Speech Language Hearing Association is recommended.
• Ability to process and integrate large volumes of information effectively.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to read, write, and interpret professional evaluation materials to stay informed in the field, prepare in-services, administer assessments, and make clinical decisions.
• Ability to independently analyze and resolve issues related to clients and self.
• Ability to manage stress from challenging caseloads.
• Strong organizational skills to follow complex directions and manage schedules.
• Basic math skills are necessary.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating personal computers, Servox devices, and augmentative communication tools.

• Evaluate clients and create effective treatment plans to enhance communication abilities.
• Formulate treatment plans based on physician requests and secure approval for services.
• Initiate prescribed treatments and keep physicians informed about client progress.
• Document evaluations, weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other necessary information in compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records as per agency guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members regarding client progress and care plans.
• Engage in rehabilitation conferences and client care planning meetings.
• Provide education to clients, families, and staff as needed.
• Participate in in-service training programs for agency staff upon request.
• Adhere to the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
• Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

• Preferred Experience: 1 year working with adults and children with neurological disorders, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Required Education: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid Speech Therapist license required.
