Job Overview The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is recruiting for an Outpatient Psychiatrist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level. The final rank and title will be commensurate with the experience and accomplishments of the selected candidate. Medical Director and leadership opportunities may be available. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Direct patient care in an outpatient setting. Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Administrative and leadership roles, participation in quality improvement, peer supervision, and formal mentorship. Opportunities for clinical research at UC Health facilities, hospitals, and local health care systems. Minimum Requirements MD/DO or equivalent degree. Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license. Completion of a 4‑year psychiatry residency. Additional Qualifications Considered Board eligible/board certified in general psychiatry.
