Outpatient Psychiatrist, Assistant Professor

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is recruiting for an Outpatient Psychiatrist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level. The final rank and title of the appointment will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicant. Medical Director and leadership opportunities may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities will include:

• Direct patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Opportunity for administrative and leadership roles, participation in quality improvement, peer supervision, and formal mentorship.
• Opportunities for clinical research at various UC Health facilities, hospitals, and other local health care systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• MD/DO or equivalent degree
• Active and Unrestricted Ohio Medical License
• Completion of a 4-year Psychiatry residency

Additional Qualifications Considered:

• Board eligible/board certified in General Psychiatry

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
