About the role: We're looking for a high-performing team player that's looking to kick-start their career in PR & communications. They will have an internship or other relevant experience under their belt, with a keen interest in media relations and a strong understanding of social media marketing and influencer relations. In this role you will:

• Handle multiple client assignments, which requires strong time-management and organizational skills
• Support the development of media lists with oversight from senior team members
• Conduct media and influencer outreach with guidance from more senior team members
• Write first drafts of media materials, such as pitches, fact sheets and backgrounders
• Contribute to plan development by researching tactical recommendations with support of larger team
• Source costs for campaign elements (e.g. influencer costs, mailer costs, etc.)
• Support all logistical and administrative needs as assigned by the team
• Support the writing of first drafts of case studies with review and input from senior team members

About you:

• A degree in public relations, marketing communications, or similar
• Internship (or similar) experience in public relations, social media management and /or event management
• Past experience in an agency setting is highly valued
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about identifying and influencing trends
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial attitude and a go-getter
• Team player and generous spirit
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated initiative

Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $50,000-60,000 annually depending on experience.
