Position Summary

Insight is seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support in a corporate environment. This role is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of IT support experience who enjoys resolving technical issues, supporting end users, and working with a wide variety of hardware, software, and networking technologies.

The successful candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, solid troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting Windows-based environments. This is an excellent opportunity to continue building a career in IT while gaining exposure to enterprise technologies and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software issues.
• Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and common business tools.
• Set up, deploy, image, and upgrade desktop and laptop systems.
• Troubleshoot user account issues, password resets, and Active Directory-related requests.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity, wireless, DNS, and DHCP issues.
• Support conference room technology and peripheral devices.
• Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for IT assets and equipment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting employees at all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, field services, or help desk experience.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems in a business environment.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting experience with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
• Experience using ticketing systems to track and document support requests.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or other industry-recognized certifications.
• Experience with Active Directory and endpoint management tools.
• Exposure to networking equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting hardware deployments, device refresh projects, or office moves.
