Senior Financial Analyst

DescriptionKforce's client, a growing financial institution located in the Boston, MA area, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support senior leadership, including the CFO and Controller. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives. this client offers salary and benefits package. This is a hybrid position following an initial training period.Key Responsibilities:* Prepare internal financial statements and external regulatory reports* Perform and review general ledger reconciliations* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis* Prepare and post month-end journal entries* Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness* Evaluate workflows and implement process improvements/automation* Develop documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guidance* Partner with auditors and assist with audit processesRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance* CPA or CFA preferred* 4+ years of finance or accounting experience* Experience in banking or financial institutions (or related audit experience) required* Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting* Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office* Experience with accounting systems (Oracle, Blackline, Sageworks, AvidPay preferred)* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills* Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders* Understanding of internal controls is a plus* Familiarity with regulatory requirements (including BSA compliance)Job TypeDirect HireCompensation90000 - $115000
