Title
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule
Shift: 3x12s, Nights
Weekend coverage required; rotation for holidays.

Requirements
- 1 year of PCU (progressive care) experience required
- Cardiac/telemetry experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Epic charting system experience required
- Valid compact or state license in hand at the time of submission

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for adults and geriatrics in a progressive care unit.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Start IVs and manage peripheral, PICC, and central lines.
- Administer blood products, follow heparin and insulin protocols.
- Manage post-operative care for cardiac and vascular patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
- Strict fingerprinting/credentialing timeline; compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions).
- Two professional references required; at least one must be a manager/director.
