Litigation Secretary

Consilio is seeking a Legal Support Specialist to support the IP Litigation group of one of our law firm clients in San Diego, CA! Hybrid - 4 days in office! Responsibilities Litigation Support Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, discovery materials, declarations, notices, proposed orders, and proofs of service. Prepare and coordinate court filings, e‑filings, and service of legal documents. Assist with deposition preparation, including exhibit management and logistics. Coordinate court reporters, videographers, depositions, and hearings. Track litigation deadlines and collaborate with docketing teams to ensure compliance. Administrative Support Manage attorney calendars and court‑related deadlines. Schedule client meetings, internal meetings, and virtual conferences. Maintain electronic files and document management systems. Handle travel arrangements and related logistics. Support document production, redlining, proofreading, and execution through tools such as DocuSign. Billing & Financial Administration Process invoices, expense reports, reimbursements, and check requests. Enter and maintain attorney time records. Review and process prebills. Assist with audit letter processes. Client & Business Support Prepare conflict checks, engagement letters, waiver letters, and new client intake forms. Coordinate with conflicts and intake teams. Support CRM activities and business development efforts. Maintain professional communication with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and colleagues. Professional & Operational Support Monitor court rules, filing requirements, and legal procedures. Track attorney CLE credits, bar renewals, and court admissions. Mentor junior team members as needed. Participate in process improvement and technology initiatives. Required Qualifications 4+ years of litigation support experience within a law firm or legal department. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology. Experience with court filings and e‑filing systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with document management systems, including iManage. Excellent organizational, proofreading, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation and/or Patent Litigation practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Salary DOE

• 80,000 - $97,000 for candidates with approximately 3-9 years of litigation experience
• 99,000 - $120,000 for candidates with 10+ years of litigation experience
