HR Intern

Description A. BASIC FUNCTION: As an HR Intern you will be responsible for supporting Human Resources in various administrative and project-based tasks across the employee lifecycle. This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain exposure to core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance and employee engagement. PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain accurate and confidential HR documentation, including employee and candidate records, payroll files, and compliance materials. Support recruitment and onboarding by creating job postings, reviewing resumes, assisting with screenings, coordinating background and reference checks, and helping facilitate new hire orientation. Assist with employee engagement initiatives by organizing activities and supporting the planning and execution of company‑wide events. Participate in workplace safety initiatives by supporting the HR team and Safety Committee through meetings and related activities. Assist with payroll administration by reviewing employee timecards and supporting accurate, timely payroll processing.
