Swim Instructor

Job Summary:Responsibilities:We're seeking a Swim Instructor to join our team! As our new Swim Instructor you will:Teach various levels and age groups in accordance with the sites instructional guidelinesPlan lessons, select appropriate drills, and evaluate the student’s progressPresent proper demonstrations and explain skills, analyze and correct performance, minimize fear, and use appropriate teaching devicesMaintain a safe and positive teaching environmentAttend all in-service trainingsMaintain accurate records and prepare course completion certificatesPerform all swimming strokes and skills taught in all levelsEffectively communicate each student’s progress either to the student directly, or to the student’s parents where appropriateProject and promote a professional imageExplain and enforce facility regulations, policies, and procedures to patronsOther tasks as assignedQualifications:Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hireCurrent Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hirePrior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons highly preferredPlease note *Must be at least 16 years of age*WHO WE AREFor nearly 30 years, Exos has been dedicated to getting people ready for the moments that matter by promoting a holistic approach to health.
