Regional Controller – North Americað United States / North Americað­ Global Manufacturing CompanyLead Financial Transformation Across North AmericaA global manufacturing organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Regional Controller to lead financial management, operational performance, and business process standardization across North American operations in the U.S. and Canada.This high-impact leadership role partners closely with executive leadership and global headquarters to strengthen profitability, improve financial visibility, and drive operational excellence through ERP and digital transformation initiatives.This is an outstanding opportunity for a finance leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoys building scalable systems, improving business performance, and leading cross-functional initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Business PerformanceLead financial consolidation and performance analysis across multiple North American entitiesDrive annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processesDevelop and manage KPIs related to profitability, inventory, cost, cash flow, and operational performanceProvide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadershipIdentify opportunities to improve profitability and business efficiencyCost Accounting & Profitability ManagementManage program and project profitability from quotation through productionAnalyze standard cost vs. actual performance and implement corrective actionsPartner with manufacturing, sales, and operations teams to improve marginsConduct plant-level and product-level profitability analysisAlign operational KPIs with financial outcomesERP & Business Process StandardizationLead ERP process standardization across multiple sitesImprove master data governance and reporting consistencyEnhance data visibility, dashboarding, and analytics capabilitiesCollaborate with IT/IS teams and external vendors on system improvementsDrive digital transformation initiatives supporting operational excellenceGlobal Reporting & Executive CommunicationPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for global headquartersEnsure consistency and integrity of consolidated financial dataPresent business performance analysis and improvement initiatives to senior leadershipMaintain strong communication and collaboration with global stakeholdersAudit, Compliance & GovernanceLead external audit coordination and support internal audit activitiesEnsure compliance with US GAAP and applicable financial standardsImprove financial controls, reporting accuracy, and governance processesOrganizational & Operational ExcellenceStandardize finance and business processes across North AmericaSupport shared service and continuous improvement initiativesLead cross-functional projects focused on efficiency and scalabilityPromote best practices across all locationsQualificationsRequiredProven experience in finance, controllership, or regional finance leadership within manufacturingStrong background in cost accounting and profitability analysisMulti-site or regional financial management experienceExperience with ERP implementation, optimization, or standardizationExpertise in budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, and financial analysisExperience managing external auditsBusiness-level English communication skillsPreferredAutomotive or industrial manufacturing experienceExperience with ERP platforms such as PLEX, SAP, or OracleExperience collaborating with IT/IS teams on system improvementsKnowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRSExperience working within multinational organizationsJapanese language capability is highly preferred for communication with headquarters
