Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer on behalf of our client in Philadelphia, PA. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and data transformation technologies . The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise reporting solutions, integrating data from multiple sources, and providing actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.

A minimum of 5 years of recent Tableau development experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau .

• Create scalable reporting solutions for operational, analytical, and executive-level stakeholders.

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and performance tuning.

• Integrate and consolidate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, flat files, and enterprise applications.

• Build and maintain data transformation and normalization processes using Python or similar scripting languages.

• Develop standardized datasets and KPIs to support accurate and consistent reporting across business functions.

• Apply data visualization best practices to create intuitive, impactful dashboards and reports.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.

• Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

• Validate data quality, investigate discrepancies, and document reporting logic and data lineage.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years of recent hands-on Tableau development experience (mandatory).

• Strong experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau .

• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization.

• Experience integrating data from multiple sources into centralized reporting datasets.

• Hands-on experience with data transformation, cleansing, and normalization using Python or similar scripting languages.

• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design best practices.

• Experience gathering business requirements and delivering user-focused reporting solutions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.

• Experience with API integrations and cloud-based data platforms.

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and reporting best practices.
