Busy construction company seeking dedicated and motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in various tasks on construction sites throughout CT. MUST have own small hand tools. MUST have reliable transportation. Opportunity for use of company truck. Year round work. 100% Paid medical insurance, paid holiday's and paid vacation. Must have a valid license and clean driving record. Duties
• Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Help with the installation of drywall as needed.
• Support the assembly of structures and fixtures according to specifications.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
• Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Skills
• Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with drywall installation and taping.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints - helpful, but not required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, and hammers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to construction and carpentry.
• Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
