TRA Medical Imaging is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and pre-registering diagnostic imaging procedures across various outpatient clinics. TRA Medical Imaging is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and pre-registering diagnostic imaging procedures across various outpatient clinics. You will ensure all necessary documentation is secured prior to appointments and serve as a key liaison between patients, technologists, and clinical staff. Key Responsibilities
- Schedule imaging exams and complete pre-registration processes via phone in a professional and courteous manner
- Confirm all supporting documentation is received prior to appointments, including orders, lab work, prior imaging, chart notes, authorizations, and interpreter arrangements
- Review scheduled exams and coordinate with technologists to ensure readiness
- Manage digital medical records and appointment workflows using RIS, PACS, EMR, and related systems
- Adjust schedules and manage waitlists to optimize efficiency
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and support document handling protocols
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of medical office experience
- Completion of a medical terminology course or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of radiology scheduling, procedures, and insurance requirements
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Experience using electronic health systems and scheduling software
