Staff Accountant

TMH is seeking an experienced staff accountant. The position is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting support services in the areas of client accounting, payroll and tax preparation. The position assures all financials are maintained and administered without error. We are looking for a highly organized professional with excellent interpersonal skills and must be an integral team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities Assures all financials are maintained and administered without error. Records, reviews, and/or monitors regular input of client transactions, including deposits and expense. Reconciles all financial statements on a monthly basis. Prepares quarterly financial reports. Prepares monthly and quarterly journal entries. Prepares business and individual income tax returns. General Supports the strategic goals and mission. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills High level of integrity and professional maturity. Strong computer proficiency. Exercises good judgment and decision-making capabilities. Excellent writing, proofreading skills. Education, Experience, and Background Bachelor’s Degree. Previous experience in client accounting or bookkeeping, desired. Experience with computer applications. Experience with tax software. Working Conditions/Physical Demands Must have the schedule freedom to work Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4 PM, including evenings and weekends when necessary. Sitting, standing, walking and lifting. Acute verbal, hearing and visual senses required for communication. Manual dexterity and visual capability to use a computer, audio/visual and general office equipment.
