Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and screenings to determine clients' substance abuse history and overall mental health status.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that address addiction issues alongside underlying mental health concerns.

• Lead individual counseling sessions as well as structured group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs.

• Collaborate with other team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to care.

• Engage clients' families in the treatment process by offering education and support, emphasizing the importance of their involvement in rehabilitation.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients who are struggling with substance use disorders and may also face co-occurring mental health disorders. These individuals come from diverse backgrounds and experience varying degrees of challenges; your role is to guide them towards lasting recovery through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
\n
• Demonstrated experience and training in the area of addiction counseling.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate and inspire clients towards recovery.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with advanced training in addiction therapy and demonstrated success with evidence-based treatment methods. Experience in a community health clinic setting will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
