AI Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Own the automation roadmap and deliver measurable operational leverage.
• Shadow clinical and back-office teams to identify high-ROI automation opportunities and build repeatable production processes.
• Lead data integrations across major EHRs, including pipeline reliability and error handling.
• Select and implement APIs, portal integrations, browser and desktop automation, and screen-level robots based on workflow needs.
• Stand up and maintain internal AI tooling, including LLMs, agent frameworks, and knowledge assistants, and train teammates to use them effectively.
• Scope and manage automation vendors against delivery, quality, and reliability standards.
• Partner with Engineering on integration patterns, data contracts, and the division between product and operations.
• Enforce documentation, monitoring, change management, and data-driven operational practices.
• Translate workflow insights from operators and clinicians into product and roadmap input.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in management consulting, software engineering, product management, or a similar analytical or technical role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to scope ambiguous problems and ship end-to-end solutions.
• Fluency with modern AI tooling, including LLMs, agent frameworks, and prompt engineering.
• Hands-on familiarity with APIs and light scripting in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language, including reading code, writing automations, and debugging.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations with an ownership mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Exposure to healthcare, operations, or regulated industries is a plus.
• Experience in high-growth or ambiguous environments is preferred.
