Your Role - Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy of your analyses, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all laboratory procedures diligently, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the standards of quality in the lab.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment duration.
