Associate Attorney - Litigation (3+ years)

Job Title: Associate Attorney Location: Kansas City, MO

Overview: A well-established and dynamic litigation firm in Kansas City is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to step into an active role handling a broad range of litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage cases independently from inception through resolution or trial

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and trials

Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators on complex cases

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel effectively and professionally

Practice Areas May Include:

Consumer claims

Product liability

Class actions

Civil rights

Employment law

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Active license in Missouri and Kansas (strongly preferred)

Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience

Demonstrated ability to handle files independently

Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills

Client-facing experience preferred
