1.0  Summary

Performs the function of General Warehouse labor through its various stages.

2.0 General Responsibilities

1.       Safely receive, store, pick, pack and ship merchandise. Maintain an organized and clean workspace.

2.       Unload part and place on conveyor line using proper safety and lifting procedure.

3.       Remove part from conveyor line using proper safety and lifting procedures.

4.       Unload incoming trucks, check freight against packing slips, and report damaged goods.

5.       Load outgoing orders safely and securely onto delivery truck.

6.       Move products to designated areas.

7.       Wrap and label items correctly according to customer orders.

8.       Prepare for packing and shipping securely so they are ready for safe transport.

9.       Assist with periodic physical counts.

10.   Other activities as directed by Supervisor.

3.0 Qualifications

1.       Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required in order to successfully complete all essential duties required.

2.       Must be able to operate a pallet jack to pull parts from one location to another.

3.       Ability to handle parts in a careful and consistent manner.

4.0 Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

Must be able to push/pull carts.

Work in hot & cold temperatures.

Must wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as needed

Frequent moving of the arms and hands in a consistent motion.

Must be able to travel within Company facilities.
